I used the dry steam process and went to work after the work was completed so don't know drying time. Carpet was dry at 8:00 when I got home. Service cost seemed high but I did not price elsewhere so can't compare relative value. I was very pleased with the service and results though. I would also recommend the technician.

John and Matt Deen cleaned my carpets and arrived around 12:30 in a 12-2 pm window. I really appreciated having them here early so the carpets could be done quickly and before rain arrived. They understood about my mom with dementia who now lives with me and was considerate in trying to get the carpet around her recliner dry so that she could sit in her chair by bringing in a large fan while working the rest of the carpet. They understood how to remove oil/grease that my 80 year old mother tracked in from the garage and got the stains out plus other stains that competitors were not able to remove. They cleaned the carpets in 1 1/2 hours which was appreciated so that we could get on with things going on that day. I had locked our two dogs in one room with a slate floor while they cleaned. After they left and I let the dogs out of that room I noticed a little of the carpet had been under the 2 doors in that room so didn't get cleaned. I called this morning to explain my problem and they graciously came out this morning to clean that little strip of carpet that looked so dirty compared to the carpet that was so nice and clean. Not opening the doors to have them clean yesterday was entirely my fault. I would recommend John and Matt Dean to my friends and already recommended Dalworth to those at my work. They all knew of the oil/grease stains that I wasn't sure would come out and asked if Dalworth was successful. I was happy to tell them the stains were gone. I am a single mother taking are of my 80 year old mother while working full time. Money is very tight so I wouldn't be able to afford the kind of cleaning on a regular basis -- although I and my carpets would love to it.

Side note to #'s 1 & 2: I ordered online for 11 to 1pm, Monday, November 28 (clicked on the little calendar feature on the website) & failed to notice that the order confirmation email said 11 to 1pm on Wednesday, December 28. At 1pm on Nov. 28 I bothered to pull up the confirmation email & noticed the error. I called Dalworth & T.J. Baker was at my door in less than an hour. The website messed up & I messed up by not noticing sooner, but Brittani at the Dalworth call center was able to correct the problem in record time. Great customer service from both Brittani & T.J.! We only had 2 area rugs to clean so that fell in your minimum charge - which I thought was fair. Next time we may be able to combine with some upholstery cleaning - but it didn't work out this time since we're doing some remodel work. The technician was excellent - I would definitely enjoy having him come out to clean again. Unfortunately he was not able to get out some of the ground in stain in a high traffic area - possibly because of my unsuccesful attempts earlier this year.
