  • Comment: I have been a customer-facing employee of a Fortune 500 company for the last 20 years and completed the 3-year "Customer Services Leadership" course through the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University., so I am very particular when it comes to customer service, and how it should be performed.

    I placed my Request For Quote through the Angie's List portal. Dalworth was very responsive and the sales agent called me right away to explain their plans and pricing. The sales agent spoke clearly, professionally, and responded to all my questions with accurate information.

    My technicians that day were Phillipe and Josh. These young men were the most courteous and professional workers I have seen in a long, long time. You should be proud to have such young men working for you, as they exemplify the excellent reputation Dalworth has in the marketplace. I went with Dalworth not because it was necessarily less expensive, but because I could trust and depend on the employees to do a good job without issues.

    On the downside, my crew got dispatched without the proper equipment being in their truck, which was the video-camera to inspect my ductwork. The "Premium Plan" I'd signed up for included that service, as explained by the Sales Agent over the phone. It was even in the written quote I received by e-mail. That service made my decision to go with Dalworth, versus the competition, which was $200 cheaper. We wasted an hour of the Technicians's time trying to get that resolved. Finally, someone was dispatched to bring the camera to the job-site. This was a frustration that should not have happened. I was 95% ready to "pull the plug" and call the competitor over this matter. And yet, through it all, Phillipe was polite, understanding, and apologetic for the mix-up. THAT is a valuable characteristic in a service worker.

    In closing, the work performed exceeded my expectations. My wife and I can tell the difference in the quality of the air we breathe in our house now, and I plan on calling Dalworth again in a few years to have my ducts cleaned once again. As we say in the business, "Service Sells." I will be recommending Phillipe and Josh to my son, who is also interested in having his house ducts cleaned. Word of mouth business is the best business of all. Thank you, Phillipe and Josh.
